(London) – Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva plc, announces it has appointed Denis Resovac as Head of Insurance Solutions Sales for the Asia Pacific (‘APAC’) region.
In this newly created role, Denis will be responsible for leading the development of investment solutions for Aviva Investors’ insurer clients across APAC. He will be based in Singapore and report to Richard Surrency, Head of Asia Pacific.
The appointment of Denis follows other senior hires across Aviva Investors’ global distribution team, including the appointment of Steven Gardner as Head of Institutional for EMEA which the firm announced in May of this year, as it continues to expand and strengthen its distribution capabilities.
Denis has spent the last two decades working within the insurance investment industry and brings expertise across a wide range of asset classes, sustainable investment strategies, and knowledge of insurance regulations.
He joins from Robeco, where he was Head of Insurance Strategy Asia Pacific. In this role, he was responsible for sourcing and distributing insurance investment solutions in fixed income, equity and alternative assets to life, general and re-insurers in the Asia Pacific region. Denis has also previously served as Head of Insurance Strategy & Advisory, APAC for DWS Group and spent over 14 years at Deutsche Bank where he developed structured credit solutions and provided fixed income products to asset managers, insurance companies and private banks.
