Main responsibilities

Ant leads on the investment, portfolio management & performance for Venture Capital investments. He is also has overall responsibility for the groups Corporate Venture Capital programme (Aviva Ventures).

Experience and qualifications

Ant has 20 years financial services experience and joined Aviva Ventures in January 2017.

At Aviva has undertaken several investor director, board observer & NED roles supporting companies through transitionary periods, exit processes and on their growth journeys as they look to scale. He currently serves on the board of a number of venture investments including Shepper Ltd and Acre Platforms Ltd.

In his role leading the Corporate Venture Capital arm for the Aviva group Ant is accountable for oversighting the deployment & management of ~£430M of committed capital to VC across funds & direct investments in the Aviva Ventures portfolio.

Ant is a Chartered Management Accountant and has worked across finance and business & change management.
